Privacy

A readable product privacy summary.

This page is a plain-language explanation of what the current product stores and why. It is not a substitute for a formal legal privacy policy, but it is the right public place to set expectations.

Account and access

Penn Abhyas uses Google sign-in for authenticated family access. Access to learner profiles is linked to the signed-in account rather than treated as anonymous public traffic.

Practice data

The app stores answers, session progress, timing, and summary statistics so families can resume runs, review outcomes, and understand where follow-up support is needed.

Parent review

Parents can see session history, question-level review, and any explanations that are generated for family teaching support. This layer is intended to make review easier, not invisible.

AI usage

AI is used for specific support tasks such as child-facing coach notes, explanation drafting, and similar-question generation. The product design goal is to keep AI out of places where deterministic scoring is more trustworthy.

Public expectation setting

  • The public informational pages are intended for indexing. The signed-in practice app and admin surfaces are not public reading material.
  • Family and learner session data is product data, not marketing content, and should not be exposed through public site indexing.
  • Any future formal legal policy should replace or expand this page rather than contradict it.
